Girlfriends Forever

Friends ForeverThe best kind of friendship are the lasting , warm, and wonderful kind. They’re the kind when the caring never goes away and the two friends are so near in their hearts that they’ll stay closes forever. Our friendship is like that. We have a trust, an honesty, and a history together that make me think of you as so much more than a friend. You’re at the center of the circle of my life and you’ve been a precious part of so many yesterdays.

I know you’ll always stay that way, because when a friend is as close as you are, she’s just like family. You’ve always been and you always will just like a sister to me. We didn’t have all those yesterday’s of being little girls together. We didn’t share the same mother and father, or help each other blow out our birthday candles.

It's Great To Be A GirlThere weren’t any days of playing hopscotch or tag or of staying up nights giggling and planning our future’s. We never experienced the gift of love sisters share, until now. I have had many friends but none of them knows my heart and my spirit as you do. Your have given me something very special. . . the gift of a sister’s love. “What I’m trying to say is this: As long as you have me and I have you for a friend, life’s never going to be lonely, boring, or without someone special in our lives.

When Friendship Grows

Emily Dickinson spoke for friends everywhere when she observed, “My friends are my estate.” Dickinson understood that friends are among our most treasured possessions. But unlike a bank account or a stock certificate, the value of a true friendship is not denominated in dollars and cents; it is, in fact, beyond measure it is priceless. Our friendship started when we first talked to each other I knew we would always be friends and our friendship has kept on growing and you know that I’ll be here for you to the end. Thank you listening to me when I  have a problem and helping dry the tears from my face.

You take away my sorrow and put happiness in its place. We can’t forget the fun we’ve had laughing ’till our faces turned blue while talking of things only that we found funny. People must have thought we where insane. Oh! if they only knew.

I guess this is my way of saying thanks for catching me when I fall. Thanks once again for being such a good friend  and being there with me though it all. There comes a point in your life when you realize who really matters, who never did, and who always will.

A friend is someone who can see the truth and pain in you even when you are fooling everyone else. If your alone I’ll be your shadow. IF you want to cry, I’ll be your shoulder. If you want a hug, I’ll be your pillow. IF you need to be happy I’ll be your smile…But anytime you need a friend. I’ll just be me.

It’s the times we’re so crazy that people think we are high it;s the times we laugh so hard , we can’t help but cry. It’s all the inside jokes and remembering when’s those are all the reasons that we’re best friends!

When you are with a close friend it seems as if  you never have to explain yourself. Your friends don’t need it and your enemies won’t believe it. A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when yo have forgotten the words. Friendship isn’t about whom you have known the longest…it’s about who came, and never left your side.

The words that escape a friend’s mouth are “I’ll be there when you say you need me” but the words that are unheard from a true friends heart are I’ll be there…whether you say you need me or not.

What is a friend? A thesaurus offers many synonyms: ally, alter ego, chum, companion, coworker, colleague, helper, pal, and partner, to name a few. Like the people who create them, each friendship is unique. Enduring friendship, while difficult to cubbyhole, is easy to recognize. We know it when we see it.

Epicurus wrote, “Of all the things that wisdom provides to make life happy, by far the greatest is friendship.” Over two thousand years have passed since the Greek sage offered this observation, but little has changed. Friendships are still among the most sublime of human pleasures.

A true friend is the gift of God, and he only who made hearts can unite them. Friendship is one mind in two bodies. A friend is a poem. Friends are relatives you   make for yourself. A true friend will not always agree with you but will always be true to your best interests. Your best friend is the person who in wishing you well wishes it for your sake.

The word friendship is also a noun and it has many meanings here are a few : The  state of being friends; friendly relation, or attachment, to a person, or between persons; affection arising from mutual esteem and good will, friendliness; amity; good will; kindly aid; help; assistance, aptness to unite; conformity; affinity; harmony. Friendship is a noun and it can begin with a glance and continue to grow with gratitude. Remember wherever your are it’s your friends who make your world.

Friendships Are Like Gold

Friendships are like gold even though Friends may not spend time gazing into each others eyes they do show great tenderness toward each other

Friends like gold face in the same direction toward common projects, interests, hobbies, goals, and all the ups and downs that life brings their way.  Above all they enjoy friendships that are deep-rooted in trust

Few sounds on earth can compare with the sound of friends laughing. Hearty laughter is oil in the engine of friendship: With laughter, things run smoothly; without it, the gears have a tendency to grind. A loyal friend laughs at your jokes when they’re not so good and sympathizes with your problems when they’re not so bad. Herein, we consider the joys of a good laugh and the blessings of a good friend with whom to share it.

Trusted friends know when laughing is the last thing on our minds. Sometimes, we fall prey to worry, frustration, anxiety, or sheer exhaustion…and our hearts become heavy. What’s needed is plenty of rest, a large dose of perspective, a heaping helping of faith, and the encouraging words of a trusted friend…but not necessarily in that order. A trusted friend is someone you can share all your sorrows with and your joys.  Anyone who has experienced a life long friendship knows this statement is true.

Our friends and loved ones provide some of life’s greatest delights, but the pleasures of friendship are never delivered on a one-way street. In order to gain friendship we must first give it away. Friendship is reciprocal; no one feels it who does not at the same time give it. We feel it when we see our friends and loved ones, they smile, you smile, their face brightens up, your face brightens up … you have struck gold!

Best Friends Dance In The Moonlight

It is chance that makes sisters, but hearts that make friends. Our girlfriends are a reminder of the blessings that come from closeness and  sharing secrets. We Learn about life together.

Our girlfriends are the ones who believe in us, the ones we can call on anytime, the ones who never lets us down. They fill a unique space in our lives. They have a piece of our very heart and soul and because of them we know without a doubt that love can get through anything.

Our girlfriends are the ones we feel whole with, the ones we share who we really are. They are the ones who know where we’re coming from. They are the ones who know all we’ve been through, and everything we dream about. We wouldn’t trade our friendships with them for anything. Nothing else could ever begin to bring us the contentment, the craziness, the laughter, and all the thousands of things we share. We understand that life isn’t always the brightest, and we take turns cheering each other up and sometimes we don’t need to apologize for our bad days.

Who else can we call at any hour of the day or night? Who else accepts and understands all of us no matter what comes along good or bad they’ll be there. Knowing this brings us great comfort. Doesn’t it?  We have a trust, honesty, and a history together that make us think of them as more than a friend.

They are the center of the circle of our lives and they are a precious part of so many yesterdays. With our girlfriends we don’t have to be fancy or talk in a special way. We don’t have to mind my manners or wear my best clothes and shoes. We don’t have to count calories or act like we are someone we aren’t. With our girlfriends we can cry or laugh out loud.

We can dance in the moonlight together. We can speak our mind or say nothing at all depending on our mood. We don’t have to try hard to impress them or think of important things to say. With our girlfriends everything is important. We can just be ourselves and we really appreciate that. Don’t we?

Girlfriends understand each other completely we will wear pretty dresses with flowers in our hair and hum songs to the beat of children’s laughter. We will say nothing at times and that silence will be our greatest solace. Other times we will talk for hours or until the sun sinks into night. We will remember then the days when life was defined by complexity and when we vowed our friendship would last a lifetime. Regardless if you are friends by chance or by heart don’t forget to dance in the moonlight!
